Plans for Articulated Buses in Cumbria
Plans are on the table to bring London's ex Mercedes Citaro G's to Cumbria for rural and sightseeing routes.
Me personaly I dissagree with the Idea because,
Firstly, they are 60 feet long which causes problems to other road users.
Secondly, it ruins the spectacular views that you can see from the top deck of a Dennis Trident or a Leyland Titan
Thirdly, They would just cause more problems there than they do in London.

I agree they are too big for the Lake District.
